Work has begun on the conservation-restoration and repurposing of the former stables of Palazzo Taffini in Savigliano, owned by the Cassa di Risparmio di Savigliano bank, which will be converted into a building for the cold drying of herbs for research and demonstrations, part of the ESSICA project managed by the Terre dei Savoia Association, winner of European funding, in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Turin. Besides handling the concept, design and supervision of works, FRED will play the role of Delegate Client for the project, a structured process that also includes the presence of a high-level supervisory body (REAM SGR) among the various actors involved. Works are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2018.
