The Piossasco Power Station is part of the national electricity grid and is a strategic site that operates as an interconnection between Italy and France.

The project included the construction of two prefabricated industrial buildings (GIS 132-220-380 KV, for a total surface area of 3,000 sq. m), civil engineering works for process plants and external renovation works. The restructuring and upgrading were executed without interrupting the existing services and building the new electrical sections in armoured solutions placed outside the two new opposing buildings, architecturally staggered for a suitable addition to the setting.
